snubbies

Nope..sorry

I believe Taurus is the only company that makes a .380 snub. It's smaller than the typical .38 special snubby, is 5-shot and has a bobbed hammer. It uses moon clips. Hope this helps.

However...

..after thinking about it, the new LCR in 9mm might be able to shoot .380 as well. Somebody with more gun knowledge than me should probably weigh in before trying it however!

This is from another forum:

The correct answer is that 380 is not just a short 9mm. Not only is it shorter but its also straight walled compared to the tapered 9mm Luger. Since they both shoot the same diameter bullet this means 380 is smaller around at the case head than 9x19luger. So even if the moonclip maintained enough headspace to fire 380acp the cases would have to stretch and swell badly to fit the too large 9mm chamber introducing the very real pollibility of a case rupture.

there are a fair amount of 38 S&W revolvers out there... just a notch under the 380 :)

both top breaks & solid frames... I think a few S&W I frames with traditional swing out cylinders... they range from single action top breaks, double action top breaks, & double action solid frames with both fixed & swing out cylinders...

the only modern revolver that is currently in production, that I'm aware of is the Taurus...

Yes if I wanted to play Sherlock Holmes I'd use my .38 Webley pocket model.

I have a box of 200 grain Super Police lead slugs.

Just reload them to about 650 fps and the game is afoot!

Love the visible gizmoisms on that Webley. Makes me want to walk the moors in the fog, at night.
