Snubbie Shoes Fashion Show

Ok, I have seen a lot of picks with the same snubbies. What I want to see is what some of you have bought for YOUR snubbie to wear. I am looking at buying some new custom wood grips for my S&W 642. I would like to see what's out there so let's have a little fashion show for our snubbies and their custom grips and such. Even though mine is very basic, I will start.

Smith & Wesson 642 with Crimson Trace Lase Grips. Smooth action trigger job with Wilson Combat Spring Kit and a disabled lock mechanism. Simple, yet sexy.

Meet Velma and Velda,,,

Velma is a round-butt S&W Model 36,,,
Velda is a square-butt S&W Model 34.

I put Pachmayer "Compac" grips on them,,,
Now they have the identical shape,,,
And feel exactly alike in my hand.

Not fancy custom grips at all,,,
But very utilitarian.

I want some of these grips by Esmeralda,,,
Three pages of J-frame grips,,,
And they are all sold.

I drool over those Ivory wood celtic grips on the 2nd page.

Here are a pair...

...of Gen 3 Detective Specials. Those are original Colt stocks. I also have sets of Pachmayr's for them.

Two of my no-dash Model 66s. One with original magnas and T-grips and the other with cocobolo retro combat grips from Ahrends.

Not the most practical of grips (they're too small for both my wife's hands and mine as well)...but they sure is purdy. Rod

I really love those Detective Specials. I actually went to a pawn shop this past Friday where I have been eyeing one for some time now and it was gone. I almost cried...lol. Next time I see one, I am just going to grab it up before anyone else has a chance.

These are the only fashionable shoes I have on a snubbie, everything else has factory stocks with a T-Grip or Pachmayr Compacs...
