I just watched a you tube video showing someone shooting at a bright orange square they called a sniper training cube with .223 ammo. It bounced around with no appearant penetration to cube. Anyone know what this cube is made of and where can I get one?

I saw some of these at Sportsman's Warehouse; almost bought one, but thought better of it. Where's that round go when it gets done with the ball? No way to know, so no thanks.

The one I found is made by Just Shoot Me products. But looks like the cube is a few years old and has been discontinued at every store I found. Their website is being 'work' on and takes to you target depot. They have a Ballistic Polymer Ball that looks fun, but sadly out of stock.

Saw them in Gander Mt too, few different shapes... seems like it could be a fun game to play with some friends.

I don't know about the "sniper cube" or if cube is even what I'm thinking about but I found a red prairie dog target that was suppose to soak up all kinds of bullets without hurting it.

The one I got was a display model without a base. Didn't even have the packaging. The store didn't have any on hand so I talked them out of the display and built a base thinking I was going to prove them wrong, I could tear up anything.

I set the little sucker out there at about 100 yards and shot the crap out of it...........I was wrong, I can't tear it up. I was highly impressed. Its a heck of a lot of fun and takes less maintenance then my steel targets (actually it doesn't take any maintenance).

I'd like to find more and scatter them all over my back pasture.

The last time I looked Academy Sports had the cube, the prairie dog mentioned by kraigwy, and a couple of other ones. I don't recall the price though.

I've got some swinging targets made out of the same material that these cubes, and kraigwy's prairie dog is made out of. The material really is great. My 8" round target has taken hundreds of rounds of .22 lr and 45 ACP. It has some visible holes, but they mostly seal themselves back up again. Works great. I don't know about the ricochets from the cube. I would only use one if I had a lot of open space behind the target.

i have the cube mentioned and its a good product that cost 25 bucks at the local gun shop. it does get damaged however. they say its rated for like 1000 rounds with any caliber and after a few hundred rounds of 300wm 44mag 9mm 40sw and 7.62x39 its pretty beat up. i still recommend it bc its cheap and great training for follow up shots CTD has them
