Smith & Wesson Tactical Auto Pistols

Just picked up the "Smith & Wesson Handgun 2000" magazine and they've drastically expaned their Tactical line (pistols which are built with near performance center features but close to standard production price) with six pistols in three calibers (9mm, .40 & .45) and twenty-three different flavors (alloy frame, all steel frame, adjustable sights, night sights, etc.).

Has anyone had any experience with this line? If I'm interested in a traditional double action pistol (no Glocks or 1911's -- I already own a couple), would the Tactical line from S&W be worth looking into?

The 3913TSW that I'd put 2,000 rounds of EVERYTHING thru has performed beyond my expectations. The day I picked it up new, I handed it to my 'smith to see what it needed and he handed it back saying, "You've already got everything I do to most guns."
It shoots ~1.75 inches at 25 yards off bags and loves 115 grn. Fed. and 124 grn. Georgia Arms. A guy I know called S&W and they said the 3913s like all 124grn.
I looked at EVERYTHING put the TSW felt and pointed the best.

I've always like the 4513TSW, and I've always wanted one really bad. Man, I hate being a college student! :)

From the pictures on S&W's webpage it looks like they have frame rails also.

The TSW line came from the Performance Center line of defensive handguns, specifically, the 4013 descended from the Shorty Forty series and the TSW's multiplied from there.

I have a Shorty Forty MkIIIs, and even thoughg I am not a big fan of the third gen Smiths, I really like the pistol. Very reliable and accurate.. The grip is no good for me, but that is purely personal preference...
