But in all seriousness, there is no way S&W has its parts made in China. If they did something like that, everyone would jump on the Ruger bandwagon and almost no one would ever forgive S&W.

I know some folks, myself included, are dissatisfied with the quality of current S&W's but I don't think they'd go that far. Might as well though.

While I don't doubt that that day is coming, currently no, it is NOT true.
Might as well though.
I've purchased several new S&W pistols and all have been excellent quality. Let's not get all carried away slamming excellent revolvers.
