Hello Everyone,
Looking for an opinion on a holster for my many Smith & Wesson N-frames with four to six inch barrels.
Recently discovered the Alessi Fieldmaster. It's a rather unusual rig that intrigues me since I own several Alessi holsters already.
This is a vertical holster which allows the holster to tilt slightly once the gun is drawn breaking a pair of retaining snaps are automatically opened during the draw. Judging from the photo of it, it has an offside spot that carries a dump pouch, speedloader case, or magazine case like the popular horizontal rigs out there. The harness also looks more like the "figure 8" type used on horizontal rigs as opposed to the usual elastic cord on the offside like the classic Bianchi X-15 uses.
Has anyone used this rig?
How does it conceal under a light jacket?
What is your overall impression?
Thanks for the help.
- Anthony
