I was wondering if anyone knows the actual dealer cost of a Smith & Wesson model 629 pistol. The specific one that I am looking at is the model 629 Classic with the 6 1/2 barrel (sku 163638). I was wondering if anyone had access to a Elliot Brothers, Lew Horton, Bangers, Sports South, etc. catalog to find out the true dealer cost of this pistol. I have been thinking about buying one for a couple of months to get into handgun hunting and want to make sure that I am getting a good deal when I buy one. Thanks for any help in this matter.

Nation Wide Sports lists it at 531.50 with a ported barrel. Interchangeable front sights, 547.50. High viz interchangeable front sights, 563.50. Where they hammer you is the shipping. All hand guns shipped from a whole saler are shipped second day air. I have been dealing with these folks for 25 years and they are reliable. Hope this helps.
