A friend of mine has a S&W Regulation Police in .38 S&W with a cracked barrel. Best I can figure by the serial # the gun was made about 1922. Does anyone know if there's any hope in finding a replacement barrel somewhere? Would a J frame barrel fit it? Or would the ejector rod cause issues? I have heard the barrel threads are the same but I do not know for sure.
