Smith & Wesson Autos Part 2

I think this thread still has a long way to go so I included part 2. As stated in my final post, the first part shows a favorable view on S&W semi-autos. Still, the rather moderate amount of reported problems suggests a possible quality control problem in my opinion (one reader reported 7/30 deptartment S&W's broke for good). Keep the posts coming...and I would have no problem starting a similar survey for Sig and Glock for comparison.

Oh...and I can do without the pictures, they are very nice but they take up room and in my opinion caused the thread to be closed prematurely. This topic is really best if text only.

[ Just to clarify, unless a moderator best me to it or corrects me, threads on TFL are normally closed at the 100K mark. The previous thread had hit the 117K mark (not counting pictures) so the photos had no bearing on the thread being closed early. But I do agree that all of those photos did slow down the loading of that page a great deal. ]

Does anyone have experience w/ the S&W CQB? I found one for sale NIB for $799.00. Any input would be appreciated.

thanks,
Mike

Hello gentlemen
Do any of you own a sw99? I finally started to like mine. It took me a LONG while to get used to the crappy trigger. It is real accurate once you concentrate.
