I guess this is in the form of a question,
just got my American Rifleman magazine and
on page 13 S/W has an ad for their revolvers,
should the mag.accept these in light of what
Smith did.Of course it is in our hands to
buy or not to buy which I will not.Right
now I feel the only protest we have is our
buying power.(I do not buy from k-mart since
they sponser Rosie Odonnell).

Even if they were boycotting S&W, the issue would have been printed a while ago.

BTW - go back to KMart - Rosie O' is history.

Battler.

Rosie is no longer with K-mart, bottom line was effected and so she walked away before she got the axe

This is what they really listen to:

KA-CHINGGGG

Gun Control: The proposition that a woman found dead in an alley, raped and strangled with her own panty hose, is more acceptable than allowing that same woman to defend herself with a firearm.

You dont have to worry much about a boycott
of Clinton & Wesson.

The New rules for
Clinton & Wesson dealers are so obnoixious
that gun shops are dropping Clinton & Wesson
firearms from their invitory like you would drop a burning coal from your bare hands.

I would not sell Clinton & Wesson in my gun shop if the gave me the guns to sell for free.

RSR, a major, major C&W distributor, responsible for 25% of S&W sales, just droped S&W, er,C&W as they are now known.

Clinton and Wesson is done for, at least in the civilian market. They may be back in a few years, open under new management, thus voiding the Clinton & Wesson aggreement.

I cant see any dealer in his right mind selling S&W under the new rules.

If S&W is to continue, they will have to set up exclusive C&W dealers only.

Most firearms dealers in america no longer want anything to do with Clinton, Gore & Wesson.

I think the only Clinton & Wesson adds you will be seeing will be S&W begging for dealers to please sell their guns. We wont deal C&W anymore.

Verbotten ,overpriced junk !

Bullet44. Those ads were printed probably at least three months ago. Probably most gun magazine have contracted for these ads a year or more in advance, so we're kind of stuck with them. I serioulsy dioubt the "gunrags" will drop ads already paid for as that might constitute a breach of contract. They should stop after the conrtacts run out. Maybe. Remember. KACHINNNNG! The only thing they all look at is the bottom line. Of course, if the ads don't stop within say four months, cancel your subscriptions and ask, nay demand, a refund of the unused portion. Hit them in the bottom line.
