These blue guns are a little less contrasty than the stainless rugers but I think the pictures are clear enough. One critic rightly noted that one of my disassembly steps is out of order. I popped the side plate before de-tensioning the main spring. This could/does put pressure on the unsupported mounting pins. Important not to pry the side plate off. This will raise burrs. Standard procedure is to tap the grip frame with a non-marring tool until it pops off.
1905 4th change variation:
There are a number of minor variations. One guy found that his hammer strut(mainspring pivot) fell off when he de-tensioned the side plate. Went back on just fine though
