I have a very old (pre WWII) top break 38 super revolver. I can not find a model number on it. The serial number is 226067. Anyone have any info?

Thanks in advance

I don't think ".38 Super" is likely. .38 S&W maybe?

The only .38 Super revolvers I know of are of more modern vintage, as the one used by Jerry Miculek.

Hammer, or hammerless lemon saueezer safety.
S&W made a lot of top breaks, some models well into the 20th Century.
Photos would help.
Welcome to the Firing Line.

More than likely a 38S&W and probably not a S&W revolver. The markings on the old break open H&Rs,IJs and others are tiny and usually on barrel rib. The cartridge designation is always more prominent on side of barrel. At a glance the grips of these guns usually have logo or trademark molded in them. H&R and IJ produced most of these revolvers and did for other labels.
