Smith and Wesson Performance Model Question

I was wondering if anybody could tell me exactly what a S&W performance model revolver comes with. Some one told me that they come with a really nice wooden case, but I have seen advertisements that show them with a gun rug. The only thing I don't like about Taurus guns is that they only come with a cardboard box. Any information anyone can give me would be appreciated.

S&W Performance Center Gun

I recently purchased a 327 PC .357 Mag, it is Titanium and Scandium.
Came with an embroidered gun rug and thats it. I was kind of taken aback myself by this considering the price of the firearm. Now all this goes away after you shoot one, I could care less now that it didnt come with a presentation box, these are shooters pieces, while they are very nice to look at, they are much nicer to shoot.

With only a couple of exceptions, Performance Center guns do not come in wooden presentation cases. In recent years their guns came in a hard case with a S&W medalion, like this.

Problems with the quality of the hard cases caused a switch to soft cases for the last year or so.
