Hey everyone, I'll be selling my Smith Model 15 here in southern California soon, and I would like some input on what is a fair price. It was made in 1958 according to my research, serial number is 3312xx. Click the link for a picture gallery. I appreciate any input on what a fair price would be to ask for it.

According to the 2010 Standard Catalogue of Firearms:

Model 15 (K-38 Combat Masterpiece)
Also known as the “Combat Masterpiece” this model was produced
at the request of law enforcement officers who wanted the
“K-38” fitted with a 4" barrel. The model went into production in
1950 and was discontinued in 1987.

Model 15's are not rare at all,,,
That sorta keeps the price down for them.

Three years ago I paid $460.00 + tax for an Excellent Condition specimen with original box and tool set.

Your gun does not look beat up but does show some holster wear,,,
You can probably ask between $300 to $350 for yours,,,
Heck, you might get a bit more in California.

A good argument can be made that the Model 15 Combat Masterpiece is the finest .38 Special revolver ever made.

I'm a fanboy of them for sure.
