Smith & Alexander main spring housing -Good quality?

I am thinking of buying an arched aluminum main spring housing made by Smith and Alexander. Does anyone know if their quality is good? This is for a Colt Officer and it seems they are the only company that makes an aluminum unit. Anyone know of another option. I did not see any in Brownell's. Thanks.
 
I got one on my 1911. It replaces that cheap plastic housing and adds a bit of weight to dampen recoil. You can get it in either curved or straight models. I prefer the straight model, but that's me. Installation is a snap, but you may have to file the magwell to fit your gun. Quality of the part is tops.
