Who here has hunted 2nd or 3rd firearm season and has noted extreme changes in deer behavior? Are deer now in locations they never were before because of hunting pressure? Are they more nocturnal, do they have it figured out to move when everybody piles out of the woods for lunch after a morning hunt? Are they bunched up neck to neck along a creekline? Where we hunt in Illinois, by the end of 2nd season, we have over 20 deer laying out in the middle of a picked soybean field where they know they are safe waiting for nightfall - smart deer!!:D

we have a few bucks on the property that we have never seen, ever.
i cant remember the last time that i saw a forkhorn or a spike and the last 3 years I have killed big 8's w/ busted tines and scared up faces and necks.
