Small/slim Grips for a S&W N-frame rd butt?

I have size 7-7 1/2 hands and find the Hogue wood combat grips a bit chunky for my hands. Does any know if a company makes/sells/offers slim grips for a 357 N-frame round butt S&W. Pachmayr makes it a slim grip for N-frame square butt but not for round ones. Anyone try the Eagle secret service checkered boot grips or the $4 rubber ones at CDNN? I'm getting desperate!

Actually Pachmayr does make compact grips for the N frame round butt. I'm planning on a set, but needed a new mainspring first.
I tried the Eagle secret service grips on a Ruger GP-100. They look nice but just about beat me to death. No thanks.
Some people have really nice things to say about the Speigl Boot Grips. At $60+ I think I'll have to pass.

Jerry Miculek smooth grips

just might be the ticket. Hogue and CLARK's in La. have them. VERY fast on target. Good luck....dewey

Hogue's rubber grips are dimensionally smaller

than the wooden ones. I have pair of SS grips for my SB N-frame. They are quite compact, for sure. Unfortunately, they are also pricey, as with the Spegal's.

Herrets makes a slim grip,i think it's called the Roper. i was about to look into it myself. quality should be quite high, though i've never ordered any. i can vouch for Spegel boot grips; they are the finest grips i've owned. of course hand size/shape is the biggest factor in choosing grips.

Tman, my only N-frame is a Model 28 with square butt. I wanted smaller, thinner grips and tried a pair of the Eagle Secret Service uncheckered grips which look and feel very good on the gun but didn't allow me enough "grip" and control of the weapon when firing. (they seemed to move around in my hand a bit.) I would second the recommendation for Miculek grips. That is what I have on it now and they are terrific. I have gripped but not fired the round butt N-frame version and they "feel" even better. You can order them through Clark Custom Guns (and I can't seem to find the URL at the moment, but do a browser search and you'll find them).

Thanks!

Called up Hogue...asked them about the compact grips. They told me the grips were not any slimmer, just smaller lengthwise for better concealbility. Pachmayr has smaller "Professional" grips, but I think those are only for square butt N-frames (none for round butt). Thanks for the lead on Spegel's and Clarks', I'm going to give them a call after labor day (Somehow I don't think they'll be in over the weekend). BTW, I ordered some Maxfire 8 shot speedloaders for my 627, should be coming in soon. I've yet to try the moonclips, they look sooooooo fragile. Thanks all for the input....keep'im coming if you have any new info or suggestions.

I have some Pachmayr compact grips for my RB N frame Mountain Gun. They are compact but do have a thin layer of rubber covering the backstrap as opposed to the Hogues or Speigels which leave the backstrap open.

This helps somewhat with the sting of recoil, but the grip is a little bulkier.
