Slugs, buckhot and recoil

I Shoot a 12 ga Remington 870 Super MAg and i have shot the 3.5 in turkey loads . I have shot run of the mill 2.75 in shells. What i was wondering how does recoil compare in slugs and buckshot. I dont even feel the little 2.75 recoil but def. feel the 3.5 shells

Slugs tend to have more recoil than shotshells.

2 3/4" sabots out of my rifled 870 kick harder (to me at least) than 3" shotshells out of the smooth bore.
