Sling recommendation

I have a Marlin Model 60 .22 that I am looking to put a sling on. I the swivels all ready ( just haven't gotten around to putting them on). I am looking for a general-purpose sling, nothin' fancy.

Simple Nylon sling

For your application which is not very demanding, just a simple Nylon web 1" sling, should do nicely. Check them out, at Wal-Mart, the next time your wife drags you shopping. ..... :)

There is a quick adjustable nylon type that I really like. Its currently sold as either "Remington" or "Outdoor Connection" brands & it comes in 1" & 1 1/4" versions including swivels.

It has a sliding length adjustment so it can be quickly retracted or extended as your need changes with things like heavy winter clothing & so on. Once adjusted it locks til you change it.

I like to use wide padded nylon slings , and generally switch them from gun to gun, although I do have a few leather slings that work well too
