slide catch faliure on S&W 1006

I have a S&W 1006 that is failing to reliably lock the slide back after the last shot. I have traced the problem to a weak magazine spring. I have three magazines that I rotate with one always unloaded, but it appears that the magazine springs have taken a set after 10 years of service. Does S&W still supply replacement magazine springs for this model? I couldn't find them in the Brownell's catalog. Any other sources? I have never liked the plastic followers that S&W used on these mags, always felt they created too much drag. Any place to get a metal replacement follower? Thanks.

Thanks for the info! I think that Iwill try the Wolff Springs since the OE springs failed and Wolff has a good reputation.

Fast reloads aren't a big concern for me (9 rounds of 10mm out to handle most situtations I can imagine getting into), but I figured if the spring was giving out enough to miss the slide that it wouldn't be to long before the last round (or next to last, etc.) wouldn't get stripped properly. Thanks again.
