I own two Grizzly 44's. I know the man that designed the pistol. His name is Edmond del Lagriek. I do not know if he is still alive. The last I knew of him, he was living in Plano, Texas. He took on two partners and they formed the arms company. His contribution to the new company was the blueprint drawing of the pistol. His new partners intent was to steal the drawing for the pistol and lock Ed out of the company but he was much too smart for that. The drawing he gave them were wrong. They could never build the pistol. The company became insolvent and closed .

The serial numbers on the pistol started at 3000. Ed saved 3000 for himself and he gave 3001 to a gentleman who wrote articles for the Remmington Magazine. I have 3002 and 3003.
