SKS trigger weight

What does your SKS trigger weight come in at? I had a trigger job on my Norinco SKS back in 2000 by Flash Dist. in Montrose Colorado. It made my gun's trigger so much better. It breaks at 4lbs. consistently but there is still a good bit of pre-travel before it does.

Just curious.

I don't have a trigger gauge, but I have a Russian SKS and I like it. It breaks light and clean. I honestly don't know what people talk about when they talk about shoddy SKS triggers.

I have a bastardized Norinco that breaks right around 4lbs.

Apparently the company that did my SKS's trigger isn't around anymore.:(
But here is a link to someone who does. You can give it a look if you want.

Not trigger related per se but I also recently added Murray's spring loaded firing pin to eliminate slam fires and doubling or going full auto.

I too sent my SKS' trigger out to be adjusted back in the day -- when they were first here en masse. Cosmoline covered SKS' with accessories and 1,200 rounds of 7.62x39 Norinco were $199. Trigger was this long, mushy, thing. And there was somebody in Shotgun News fixin' 'em, so... Came back a little better!

Shotgun news! That's the place I read about the SKS trigger job company many moons ago. Are there little blocks attached to the FCG? It helped quite a bit with my fcg.
