SKS sporter

I have a chance to purchase an like new norinco SKS sporter for $250 bucks.I dont think its ever been fired.Does anyone know anything about the sporters,how do they compare to a regular SKS rifles.I was also told that it can take the AK mags???thanx for any help!!3D

If that is the SKS which does indeed take detachable AK magazines, then it is outlawed in CA and if you're not in this wonderful State (of delusion), then I would buy it.

Otherwise, I'd hold out for a Russian or Romanian SKS. Go to the Smithy section to learn about a problem related to the Chinese SKS.
