I happened into a unfired Norinco Sporter SKS. The kind that takes AK mags. The thing is, I hate the stock. It's not the thumb hole and it's not a standard SKS stock It looks and feels like it was crudely carved out of a 2x10 and had a butt pad stuck on.
Are there any good aftermarket stocks for the AK magwell SKS? Can a traditional SKS stock be made to fit a "Sporter" SKS easily?
