SKS Rifles in Ct

Can anyone tell me if it is legal to own a SKS in CT? I know 7.62x39 is not legal to own in CT. But what about one in 7.62x54? Any information will be appreciated. Thanks Scott

The SKS in 7.62x39 is perfectly legal in CT. Have a look at the statute here:

Just make sure it conforms to the above.

Don't think there's such a thing as an SKS in 7.62x54, they are only 7.62x39. There's other former Eastern Bloc semi-auto rifles in x54, like the PSL, SVT-40, or even the occasional and expensive SVD.

7.62 x 39 is legal in Ct.Whats not legal is a AK47 in 7.62 x 39. A Ak47 in any other caliper can be legal in CT.
