So I have a Yugoslavian sks that I want to put a 3x9x40 scope on. The only thing is what do I have to look forward to as far as optimal range and what kind of groups at 100yrds and greater. Any input would help thanks
It is a ComBlok arm and you will be disappointed no matter what you do if you compare it to Western military and especially sporting arms. Maybe you need the scope -- they are usually in rings on a new action cover. Immediately you can see the physical shortcomings. Then there is the gun. Next the ammo. Hope you are a great shooter. Serviceable long gun but not for target shooting -- expect minute-of-backstop accuracy. And don't invest much.
