SKS Needing a Triger Job

I have a Romanian SKS with a very ratchety triger and it needs help. I can't seem to figure out how to take apart the triger assembly so I can't get in there and pollish out the parts. I saw a thread earlier that had a link to a company that will improve the triger on an SKS for about $40. It was a kind of mail in and two weeks later get the triger assembly back. If anyone has some SKS experiences I would appreciate the advice; which companies are good and which ones to stay away from. Thanks

Check here for trigger info, specifically, the company that rebuilds them. you will have to do some searching, but you should find a post that gives the name of the place that does the work.

This will take you to a site that will show you how to disassemble and buff the trigger parts.

FlyboyAZ: I asked this same question on the SKS board that AR-10 has provided the link to. Evidently, the firm (The Machine Shop) that used to do the trigger jobs has stopped providing that service. A regular on the SKS board, Fragger, who is very knowledgable about these matters, has provided a description of how to perform your own trigger job. Go to the second page under "Genereal SKS Discussion" for the thread "Trigger Job".
