I usually hear about three gun battery's (Pistol-Rifle-Shotgun), but that's been beat to death. Most of us own more than three guns anyway so let's do six gun battery. Six guns to cover everything you would ever need a gun for. You don't have to own them, but you know what's on your list, right? 
I'll start. I do own these. In my Pistol-Rifle-Shotgun group is
Colt 45 GVMT.
BM 223 AR-15
Rem 870 (12ga)
Which is essentially a defensive battery but easily sporting as well but limited hunting arms which is part of the reason for the expansion to a six gun battery.
Three more guns round it out to a six gun battery and allow for Hunting-Plinking-Everything else (HPE) and include:
Marlin 1895G 45/70
Ruger 10/22 22lr
Ruger Blackhawk 45acp/colt
I so wanted to include my MK II instead of the BH, but I can reload 45s cheaper than buying CCI Mini-Mags and it is a lot more versatile than a 22 so the MK II got the boot, lol. What's your ideal six gun battery?
