Sitting height bipods?

Chainsaw.

So I have an AR that I built specifically for varmits, namely coyotes, someday prairie dogs, and Im looking for a bypod. Sitting on the ground is my preferred method as I like the natural cover of bush and grass. I cant seem to find a bipod that I can put on a rail on the foreend of my AR that will be tall enough for sitting upright. All I'm finding is 9-12" bipods for shooting prone or shooting stick which mostly gear towards shooting standing. Help? Other recommendations?

IMO, bipods on rifles are often less than useless - get a real, regular lightweight tripod - such as this one: http://promaster.com/spec-sheet.html?catalog[name]=ProMaster-XC525-Professional-Tripod-with-Head---Black-%232696-Tripods&catalog[product_guids][0]=1095210

Then you can use it with ANY rifle.

Then get a screw-in V-shaped rifle forearm holder for it (a "replacement part" of just the V-shaped rest with 1/4" screw, without the cheap tripod or bipod which accompanies the rigs "made for hunters". )

Or, the Bog Pod super steady combo is 33% off right now:

I like Stoney Point shooting sticks. They are the right length for sitting and more versatile than a bipod. West Coast Armory might stock them. Sportsman's Warehouse in Federal Way used to carry them. A quick search on their websites will save you a trip.

ProMaster-XC525 comes up as no longer available. Don't like bipods on a rifle either though. Adds too much weight.
Harris bipods are extendable for shooting while sitting. They go up to 27", but cheap they ain't at roughly $100. Plus the $14 HB5 adapter to fit to a regular AR forestock. http://www.harrisbipods.com/index.html
Shooting sticks are 100% height adjustable. Cross 'em lower. And free if you forget about paying for a stick you can cut and dispose of as required.
