Sites like Davidson's Gun Gallery

I have been looking through Davidson's Gallery of Guns. If I understand it correctly you can purchase a firearm and have it shipped to a FFL you select. They go ahead and figure all taxes and shipping fees. I like the idea of doing it all at one place and getting the total out the door price.

Has anyone used Davidson's and what ate your experiecnces?

Are there other sites like this?

Thanks

Got my Ruger NV Montados 45's there-Matched consecutive numbers
for wife and I. NO PROBLEMS-Very reputable.

I used Daividsons/gungenie 1 time.

Very happy with the entire transaction.. from the web site... to the ffl that I selected that I had never been to before.

I am also interested in other site set up the same way - pick an ffl from a drop down menu.

( I guess Davidsons is a ditributor? )

i've bought one gun from davidson. smooth transaction. the two best online gun stores in my opinion are galleryofguns and budsgunshop. both have the best prices and easy to purchase from.

It is how I buy most of my guns. Very happy with the "Gun Genie" and email notification when I'm looking for a particular gun.

Ask them to ship "OVERNIGHT" as part of deal.....
Worked for me at least on the 2 gun purchase
in my prior reply.....

davidsons

You cannot buy directly from them;they are distributors;they may suggest dealers in your area.otiac

optic it looks like they give you a list of FTP to choose from and handle everything on their site. I am assuming all you have to do is make a courtesy call to the cfl you choose and let them know it is coming

Last gun I ordered from them four months ago, took 2 days to get to my dealer. I'm in kalifornia and they are in Arizona I believe. I get four dealer different quotes when I use the Gun Genie.

On the Retailer Search Results page, if you change the default setting by clicking the submit button for 25, 50 or 100 mile radius, you will get more retailers. For example, I ran a search for a Browning Hi-Power and I got results for the "3 nearest retailers". But when I run the search for a 100 mile radius, I get 35 retailers.

Davidson's has been fine on the 2 guns I got thru them. They also guarantee them.... if anything is wrong at all they'll replace the gun.

www.budsgunshop.com is another large direct dealer, but they've had problems recently with credit card fraud.

The only one I've used is a tiny wholesaler who stocks competition shooting brands like Anschutz, so I probably can't give a meaningful reference.

there awesome!

I have used Davidson's GoG on two separate gun purchases. Very smooth and trouble free. I highly recommend them. I have not needed there warranty service yet but understand it is very good. they just send you a new gun.

When using the gun genie quote system make sure to check the out the door total( sub total). It makes a difference as some dealers have a lower gun price but a higher additional fee. Not sure what that even is but it's on all quotes.

On both my purchases I found pricing to be very close to the best possible i could find any were on the web. Both were with in $20.00 and for that i will give to a local dealer.

Another huge plus is you get to inspect the gun before you accept it. If you have any issues with it they will send out another one. try that on gun broker!!!!!!

I highly recommend them. a very hassle free way to shop guns.

What is that additional fee? I have surfed the site and gotten quotes but that fee seems to range from 14 to 28 dollars for what?

Prices were OK... if you know where to shop local they are no better but it saves the leg work.

Most of what I really want they do not have in stock or are allocated.
