Single stack Glock 9mm?

I'm in the market for another 9mm but I think I'd like a single stack this time around. I know Glock doesn't make one but a slim, really concealable 9mm would make an excellent addition to their lineup. Anybody out there have any intel on whether this might be on the drawing board?

Look at the Kahrs -- polymers have some alleged (web exaggerated) problems, but my K9 is a definite keeper. The K series Kahrs have no complaints that I know of.

I'm with braske above on looking at the Kahr. Got a K-9 years ago then first Glock single stack when Model 36 hit the shelves. Please don't rush the 9mm version as my budget can't handle it for a while. :(

Somewhat smaller than the SIG P225 is the P239, also a single stack 9mm (as well as .40 S&W and 357 SIG). Being more rounded overall, the P239 is more enhanced for CCW than the more "edgy" P225.

Check out Kahr.

Star Firestar. No longer made and kind of heavy, but it's an extremely high quality, all steel, single stack pistol and small to boot.

Actually, Glock is supposed to do this, something along the lines of a single stack 26. Who knows when? It is posted on other boards pretty regularly, this whole single stack concept. In addition, I learned HK of, all folks, is bringing out a new P2000 and later a P2000 thin subcompact!!! That was announced at the IWA show from the horses mouth. Steyr has an"XS" model somewhere in prototype which is a small single stack 9mm, but who knows what Steyr is even doing with their current M/S series. It's about time they finally jump on this thin is in bandwagon.

I'll third the Walther P5.
:D
The SigSauer P6 aint too bad either. (P225)
The H&K P7 is a keeper as well.
Get them all, that way you too can start your German Police pistol collection.
