Single stack 9mm Sig P229?

My wife likes my P229, but it's a bit too in the grip for her.
Is there a Sig that is a single stack 9mm but otherwise identical to a P229?

It wasn't clear looking at their website.

Look at the old P225 or the new P225A1. The older P225/P6 used a carbon steel slide. You can still find P6s for around $400-$500 used. They were German police guns.

The New P225-A1 is a mashup of the old P225 and the P239. It take the P239 mags. It has the Short Reset Trigger and stainless steel slide. They look nice but are expensive. I have not seen one under $900.

Its tough to find a P6 or P225 lately in the $400-$500 price range, in my neck of the woods. You can certainly find a P239 in 40S&W for less than that. I paid $319.00 for my P225 several years back and I wish I'd bought 2. Not even the magazines interchange with the "new" P225-A1.

Local dealer had one sitting in the case for over a year. Someone picked it up a few weeks ago IIRC. I would have gotten it but I already have a P225 I don't shoot enough.

I'm a big fan of the P239, and it was my EDC until I moved to California. If she likes the P229 (aside from grip thickness), it is a great choice unless her hands are tiny. While it is a single stack, it is not as slim as the current crop of subcompact 9mm's. For me it was perfect compromise between size and shootability.

I like the 239's ---- I picked up a pair of them in 9mm and .40s&w....some of the young shooters in my family really like the 9mm / they'really solid guns .
