Single Six Price

I've been wondering the average price of a new Ruger Single Six. I was planning to get a Heritage Arms Rough Rider, but if the RSS isn't too much more, than it's ovious of the better choice.

I also realize I have made a lot of posts, but I can't stop the questions. Sorry.

$300 or so for a NIB blued one. $350 or so for the stainless. Some models / calibers are more. Used ones can be had for considerably less. ($175-$300) I'd buy a used single six before I bought a new heritage. No comparison in quality and value retention.

Yeah. I really wanted whatever I got to be new. Ruger is, of course, supreme in quality. The Heritage looks fine, but it's obviously not a fancy name brand.

17's are straight, flat shooters and are great for long range or for varmint control. the bullets are very accurate and the speed makes them very deadly against small game. Very little recoil too...

Above are some prices from Bud's Gun shop. Of course you have to add shipping and transfer fees.

I think i'll go for the Rough Rider. The Single Six is great, but I don't want to spend that much. I think my second will be a .357 Super Blackhawk.
