Does anyone make a single action "pocket pistol" in 9mm or larger? Looking for something to carry when concealment is top concern but I don't like DAO. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I assume by 9mm you mean 9X19. The Colt
Mustang is SA but I'm not a Colt fan.

The 45 ACP Semmerling is not DAO -
hard to categorize that action but
it's more a collectible.

However, given the quality DAO, I am
not sure I understand your reasoning.

I don't care for a double/single action since I prefer a consistent trigger pull on all shots, expecially the 1st one. I have always been a fan of the single action auto and have several but we all have times that even a compact pistol is still too big so I'm looking for a "mouse gun" that I can carry but that will still have adequate power but preferably with an operating manner similar to what I'm used to.

Two suggestions.

One of the smallest Kimbers. 3" barrel and 25oz. Available in 40 or 45.

A Kahr MK9 or MK40 Elite. Has a much shorter DAO trigger pull that you may not find so objectionable.

PARA ORDANANCE Makes a S/A 45 that holds 10 !

small enough for the palm of your hand !

check it out in your next edition of guns and ammo.
