Simple Green Cleaner?

I was thinking of trying to use Simple Green (Full Strength) to clean my BP revolvers. It works so well as a de-greaser solvent on everything else, that I thought it might be good to use on the guns?
I am also going to use it on some high dollar airgun barrels to remove oil deposits from combustion following break-in.
I can't see any harmfull ingrediants listed on the label and I think that worst case scenerio, it wouldn't work as well as Windex... I was considering using the Simple Freen followed with a warm water rinse and then wipe all surfaces with CLP Break-Free to stop rust. Break-Free is an excellent rust proofer! It penetrates everywhere!
Has anyone got experience with Simple Green?
Thanks,
ZVP

The thing that cleans the black powder fouling is water.

All the other additives you wish to add may make it work better or faster or smell better but you are cleaning with the water content of the mixture.
