Was looking for a good quality yet inexpensive o/u (under $500) and I came across Mossbeg International's Silver Reserve. I checked guns america for prices and these checked in from $400-$500 bucks. Are they worth the money? Reliable? Prices you may have seen?

I just bought one pick it up this week. And yes the quality does seem very good seems built well. I have a Mossberg 500 pump that I have been doing clay shooting with but wanted a O/U and did not want to pay a outrageous price for one since I only clay shoot about once a month shoot handguns more. Anyway found this one and looked at it and could not pass up at 465.00 It is made in Turkey and heard they make some good guns. So we will see once I pick it up.

I trust anything made by mossberg. I own their budget priced model 500 (maverick 88, retails for 140 bucks) and after using that for skeet and general shooting I imagine their higher priced guns are of even higher quality. I'm sure it will be a fine gun.

Silver reserve ...more quetions

Ok, I have read your posts and I thnk this is gonna be the scattergun for me. I will be doing alot of skeet and upland hunting w/it, but would it be ok for the occasional goose/duck hunt? And shooter.45, just outta curiosity was that w/tax?

Yes, it's made in Turkey.

A friend of mine just bought one last weekend. He got it for $452 out the door.

Has 5 choke tubes w/tool. Chrome lined chamber and bore too. He hasn't shot it yet but it seems like a solid shotgun.

Maybe this weekebd he'll shoot it. I intend to shoot it after he does. I decided to be nice and let him have the first shot. :p

Yup its made in Turkey and picked it up 2 days ago. And looks like a solid piece made very well.. And for the price you can not beat it.. I am going to shoot it next weekend hopefuly if all goes well..
