Silhouette Shooting

Is there are range anywhere in North Texas (preferably 1-2 hrs from DFW) that still shoots handgun silhouette? I know I’m born 20 years too late to see its prime, but I would like to try it before it goes completely extinct. I would likely start with the .22 version, seeing I have a Buckmark and scope mount. I shot it a few times back in 4-H at San Antonio very large, private and expensive gun club but have yet to see a public range that allows anything other than paper target at 30 yards (with a pistol).

Ghost if you want to get into silhouette do so it is a lot of fun and I myself plan on getting back into the game this spring. Your best place for information is to go to there web site at IHMSA.org There you will find information on what matches are held and where all over the country.
