I have a question from a buddy in th Nature Conservation Service in South africa. They often use silenced rifles particularly during night culls on large herds of game in the game parks.

His question is if the silencing effects the accuracy of the rifle and if so how to overcome it.

Moving topic over to Full Auto as it deals with a Class III item and will probably receive more replies over there.

But in answer.. Accuracy might suffer a small amount, it may not or it may even get better. Really depends on the suppressor. However, from my experience when you add a suppressor the point of impact will probably change. No big thing here you just have to shoot the arm with and without the suppressor and see how much it changes. Then write down the site/scope adjustment needed for future reference.

My suppressor changes the POI on my AR about 1.5" up and to the left.
