Silencer Question

Thinking of pulling the trigger and getting a silencer. Familiar with the process not so much on some of the rules, I am having trouble finding this, hopefully someone can come along and clarify. I currently live in Florida, my family lives in Virginia, I am also a member of a very nice range in Virginia. If I purchase a silencer in Florida can I legally bring it to Virginia and shoot it there?
 
and I don't mean if I move to Virginia. I know i can do that. I am referring to if I can live in FL and drive to Virginia and shoot suppressed there.

As long as silencers are legal in the states you're interested in you can have them there. In your case FL and VA are both quiet-gun friendly

Where in FL are you? There are some places in the Tampa area that have decent stock of suppressors.
