silencer for rifle ?

hello y'all , does anyone know if i can get a silencer for my 204 tikka ? i would like to get one if there is such a thing
 
First of all as fall as I know they are illegal for the average person, without a permit if you can even get a permit. Also anything over about 900fps is very hard to silence as far as I know. But there is more informed people here then me so maybe someone really knows for sure.
 
you'd need to check into the Canadian gun laws before hand. In the US, they are legal, provided that you have the correct tax stamp.

May be some other Canadian shooters here that can help you out.
