SigPro 2340 in .357 sig

I finally got to shoot the thing after having it for a month! I love it! :D It took 150 rounds of four different types of ammo without one hiccup. No failure to go into battery, no jams, no failures to feed, no NOTHING! And I even limp-wristed a couple of them just to see. I am very happy with this gun. It is as accurate as the shooter. If I was really paying attention to my shooting fundamentals and took my time I could really keep em tight (less than a 1 inch pattern!) Now for a G27! I can't wait.

Until the antis put a sign in their front yard that says they don't own guns, they are riding on the shirt-tail of the safety that we provide by owning them.

Welcome to my world. I really wish more people would give this gun a scond look. It seems since its new, and plastic, people dont wanna bother. If they only knew !

I guess people dont respect the fact that Sig has yet to make a gun that isnt superb and only look at it in a superficial stance.

Ohh well, i guess that makes us more unique.

Why dont you get rid of that nickel plated sissy pistol and get yourself a glock. :::Tommy Lee Jones:::

Granted that the SigPro is an excellent functional pistol. But it just doesn't have the traditional SIG look. That's why although I love all my SIGs (220,226,228,229,229 sport). I am still hesitant on the SigPro and probably will never buy one. The Trailside, on the other hand, looks very high quality and interesting. ;): ;) :(

I'm a wheel gun diehard..., until I got a SigPro a month ago.

I now have both the 40 & 357sig barrels. It has probably been the best money I have spent in many a year. I really like that gun! k

Hello To All, I have never opted for the Sig-Pro series; always favored the "P"
series, and own the 220, 226, 228, and
229. Guess I'd better take another look
at the Sig-Pro; but I plan to make the
220 Sport my next Sig!!! :) :) :D

I've had two p229's and gladly traded them in for one sigpro .40 and one 357 SIG. Wouldn't even think of going back.

I can certainly respect the traditional Sig owners. Although, I'm always amazed when I hear Sig owners try to destroy their beloved company by snubbing the sigpro series, when "a lot" of people just don't like alumninum guns. Wake up and look at the market. Enjoy your P series pistols, but give a little good press to help out SigArms. They could really use it.

See www.gunnery.net in the Sig 357 SIG section for an interesting sigpro article <G>

Well, I must be in the minority...especially in this thread. I really didn't care for my SigPro. I had the .40 version and it did hiccup on me a couple of times. A few failure to fires, a couple of rounds not going into full battery...I'm sure a couple of them were shooter error (read: me), but not all of them. It also proved to be a little too heavy for me to CCW all of the time. I'm well aware that I may have gotten a lemon, and this may have tainted my opinion, after all, Sigs are excellent guns. I personally don't like the Sig Pro, but as they say, different strokes for different folks.

I would have bought one except they are heavier (27 oz) than they should be for a poly frame. So I chose the G33 instead.
