Sigma Trigger

Bought one of these NIB from a kid with a new kid...needed the money. This 40VE has the most atrocious trigger I have ever had.
Any ideas on this other than trade it or, like a wife, learn to live with it? Guess it's my payback for getting a Smith...LOL
Anyone had trigger jobs done on one?

Shoot the crap out of it first. Don't expect the trigger pull to ever be crisp like a single action's - it is a different design, but they do get smoother and better.

I don't have much faith in the Sigma V variations. There's a reason they were the "cut the cost, no matter the cost" variation of this pistol and rough parts will be the norm. But it also wouldn't surprise me if after a little shooting it smooths up and turns into a really nice gun - heard dozens of reports from owners of the "V" variation that this is what happens. Hope yours will be that way too, good luck.

Yorec, thanks, I've had Smith 39's,59's and 52s...I still use my ancient 19......never a problem......this is the damndest thing I ever tried to shoot! What I got to remember is...
1. It's a carry gun, not a target gun
2.While I used to shoot PPC with the 19 and 27, the new age uses the 21 ft zone....
3. It was a good price, troop just had a baby and need the $$$$
4. I got two choices, get rid of it or, like a wife, learn to live with it! LOL
Guess we will see what happens
