Sigma Luv

Guv

So about 3 months ago I bought a SW9VE and 2 16 rd mags from a friend of mine for one hell of a price ($150.00). Couldn't pass it up but also was not expecting too much out of it. I have to say this gun shoots very well, feeds anything, locks the slide back every time it's empty and hits were the sights are aimed. The trigger is heavy but I grew up shooting my Uncles dbl action revolvers so it is totally acceptable to me. Anyone else have anything good to say about this horrible little gun?;)

I bought both the sw40ve and sw9ve, each well under $300. Plus, Smith and Wesson offered a $50 rebate and 2 free magazines for each gun. No problems from either firearm, a couple of thousand rounds out of each. They ride in the tackle box or center console of the truck just fine.

No hate for the (post-first-generation) Sigmas here. The newer Sigmas are still haunted by the poor reputation that the first-generation Sigmas deservedly earned, but the original issues were addressed long ago. The Sigma is a no-frills, reliable, durable gun with nice ergos and a not-so-good trigger. It's one of the cheapest good centerfire pistols you can buy new. If you happen to have any problems with it, it's backed by the some of the very best customer service in the industry.

i bought a NIB sd9ve last year, it was a really solid gun. other than the last round in the make would get jammed straight up in the slide, t was always reliable. the trigger wasn't terrible and t was sufficiently accurate. I sold it only because it was too big and I needed something for carry. paid 299 new for it, and sold it for 250 because I had lost a mag. I would gladly own another as a bedside gun
