Sigma 9VE Possible Extractor Damage

I have 3K+ rounds through my SW9VE, without flaw. I believe the extractor has now sheared.

Does anyone have any FIRST-HAND or VERIFIED instances of extractor damage on a Sigma?

We had a rental at the range that broke an extractor, although after a lot of rounds and abuse. S&W would not send us one, the gun had to go back to them for service. We tried to get one from Numrich, none in stock, so back it went.
