If you are going to replace the stock sights, I would let a gunsmith do it.
The rear sight is no problem as long as you have a sight alignment tool or a punch, a hammer, and some leather. The front will give you issues. They have to be set in place with heat, and once they're in they aren't moving without destroying the sight.
Besides, if the smith messes it up, you get a new set of sights for free. If you mess it up, you're out $100.
