I had an kicka$$ day at the range with my SIG 210. I bought a new mag from sig for $90 the preformed perfectly. But my mag from pro mag could not feed the second round. The ammo would dive down into the feeding ramp. I tried using five different ammo but with the same results. So NOW what do I do. Shall i return the mag to cdnn and get a store credit $50 or shall I polish the inside of the mag walls and change the follower and spring and hope for the best ? any suggestions ! help! thanks.

I'm not sure if they're ProMags or not, but I bought 3 SIG P210 9mm mags from CDNN @ $19.95 each to help my 4 original factory mags. They work fine. You could return your mags and get your money back and order from CDNN.
I had good luck with ProMags in several Browning HPs, but that doesn't help much here. If you choose to work on the magazines you have, you might lightly polish the inside surfaces of the feed lips and disassemble and clean out any thick lubricant. Sometimes, carefully readjusting the feed lips' width can help, but this can be tricky and result in a ruined magazine, but I have had it work.
If you are interested, CDNN is not on the web, but their number is 1 800 588 9500. They also have a FAX number: 1 915 695 4898 or can be mailed at CDNN, PO Box 6514, Abilene, TX 79608-6514. Best and good luck, sir.

Chaho, sounds like the mag spring is weak. Upgrade to a Wolffe +10% and your problems will probably go away. Good luck.

Echoing Stephen A. Camp, I have had good luck with ProMags in a Browning HP, S&W 6906 and a Taurus PT92. Did you clean the mags real good before shooting? ProMag packs a lot of gunk in there to protect them. If that doesn't help see what CDNN can do.

If the mag is clean, the follower would be at the top of my list of suspects. Personally, I'd try a different follower before doing anything else to the mag. YMMV.

I had a similar problem with my promags for sig P-220. The first round would chamber and fire, the second would not. I traced the problem to the shape of the front of the follower. It was getting caught on the mag release catch. I filed the shape to more of a factory "V" shape, rather than a round shape, and now they all work fine.

I had the same experience as Teppo with Ruger P-89 15rnd mags from ProMag.

I compared the follower to the ruger original in a 10 rounder, adn I saw that it needed to be rounded off so it would not stick in the mag tube. 120 grit to shape, 220 grit to smooth followed by 300 and 600 grit. It took 15 mins. and the mags work perfectly for the last 400 rnds.

Occaissonaly I fire the P-89 like a machine gun in the range 15 as fast as I can, no problem.
