Sig Sauer Range Bag any good ?

thinking about purchasing the Sig Sauer Range Bag ($60) and I'm wondering if anyone has had one.

if so are they any good ?


the look nice and sound like they have good features
just wondering if they are durable.

I have one (the big one) and, so far it seems pretty good. There are lots of elastic pockets for magazines inside zippered pouches around the outside, four pouches for pistols, including two in a seperate, smaller bag that lifts out and can be used if you don't want to tote so much stuff. It also has a removable shoulder strap, a water bottle carrier, a bag for spent brass, provision for locks on some of the zippers, and it seems to be well-made. I have only used it a few times, but I'll post again in a few months, after I have moe experience with it.

For $60.00 is it very big? The ones I've seen are small and most of the dollar costs seems to go towards the name on the bag. I just bought a large canvas tool bag at Lowe's on sale for $16.00. Unless you specifically want the Sig bag, I'd at least make a trip to Lowe's, Home Depot or even Sears and check out the tool bags. They are sturdy and big. Just a suggestion.
