Sig sauer p226

i recently accomplished getting my F.I.D Card in NJ and it only took 4 weeks !lol .. i am going to purchase a Sig P226 in 40S&W in a few days and a Mossberg 500 , i;ve been shooting Glocks all my life and need a change up..any reviews on the Sig from any owners ?
 
I don't have the P226, but I recently picked up a P229/.40 (basically the same pistol, but 1/2" shorter barrel) & it's great. Of all my pistols the P229 is one of my favorite pistols. It's probably second, only to my 8045 Beretta Cougar.:D The P229 just feels right in my hands, never malfunctions, & is deadly accurate. I added a Hogue rubber grip & got some mag extensions for the range. Every shooter is different, but I think you'll love it! The all metal SIG really tames the recoil & it shoots more like a 9mm than a .40. You picked a winner IMHO.
 
I Havent shot the P226 i've shot the P229 which is my co-workers Department Issue and it feels good just too small for my hands
