I bought a new Sig Sauer P226 LDC a few months ago, have had it at the range a few times accurate great trigger. Any other Sig Sauer P226 fans on the forum.

-Made in Germany
-All stainless pistol
-Crowned and polished heavy target barrel
-Skeletonized hammer
-Adjustable trigger stop
Mastershop trigger and action package.
-New shorter SRT approx 1.2mm.
-HI VIZ Fiber optic front sight and LPA manufactured adjustable rear.
-Full dust cover target frame.

Well of course, I have an older K-Kote P226 in 9MM and a newer P226 Nitron in .357 SIG.

Neither one has ever failed me and they hit where you put the sights.

The only P226 I have is a West German-marked folded-steel slide P226 made in 1991. I got it on the surplus market and it was supposedly an Israeli law enforcement or prison guard pistol. Judging by the looks when I got it, it has some stories to tell, but it was clearly well-maintained.

It's a suberb pistol for what it is. Big, well-made, relatively simple, and very easy to shoot accurately. The old-school SIG "contrast sights" (dot-the-i style) make hitting the target a breeze.

great trigger

I wouldn't call the trigger great.

Like all other DA/SA P-220-series pistols I've shot, the DA pull is long and heavy (as it should be), and the single-action pull is a little mushy and indistinct. Regardless, the pistol is accurate, so the ends justify the means.

I get that the LDC is more of a target/sporting style pistol, so maybe it has a better trigger feel.

Sure, the 226 is a classic ...and a solid gun. Here is a pair of all stainless I have, one in .40 S&W and one in 9mm....

And a 226 X Five, L1 model with the adjustable trigger ...in .40 S&W

Nice.
