Anyone have any reviews to share on this rifle? I am interested because of it being chambered in 7.62x39. If so, is $1100 a good price?
 
Sig 556 SWAT

I was checking out the 556 SWAT online today. I like the looks of the weapon. When checking it out on you tube, it was chambered in 5.56. I'm wondering if this makes it any more reliable than the 556 R?
 
The American 556 rifles are quite terrible compared to their Swiss Arms military counterparts. You're much better off with an AR-15 from Colt or w/e or buying a genuine AK from Arsenal.
 
Shot my new Sig 556R today

I shot mine for the first time today. All I can say is with good brass cased ammo ( 200 rounds), I had absolutely no jams. When I started using the lacquer steel cased ammo I had several malfunctions. When I switched back to brass case ammo it functioned flawlessly for the rest of the day ( another 200 rounds). I own 3 Ak's, two of which are Bulgarian and I found the Sig to be a smoother more accurate rifle.
